The IAA CS also offers training in courses to support industry standards including the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Insulation and Building Treatments (Construction) – Insulating Framed Sections of Buildings.

Course Outline
This qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment. Learner must be employed to undertake this pathway in which this qualification will enable the learners to recognise their skills, knowledge and understanding and demonstrate competence within the workplace.
 
This qualification/pathway consists of 5 mandatory units, 2 optional units and 2 additional units:
  • Insulation and Building Treatments, Building Construction, Defects and Interfaces
  • Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace
  • Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace
  • Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area in the Workplace
  • Confirming the Occupational Method of Work in the Workplace 
Optional group:
  • Installing Insulation to Framed Sections of Buildings in the Workplace
  • Injecting, Blowing or Spraying Insulation to Framed Sections of Buildings in the Workplace
  • Additional group:
  • Erecting and Dismantling Access/Working Platforms in the Workplace
  • Develop Customer Relationships
